I work in a restaurant in a village and we have a good relationship with a pub that opposite us. Last night mother of the owner passed away, they close the pub for several days until Wednesday (the day of her funeral), my boss decided to close the restaurant on Wednesday as well to show respect as she knew their family for a long time.
She asks me to write a notice to put on our Facebook page and at the door, I'm not a native speaker and I've never written or seen these kind of notices and I don't really want to have any mistakes on the notice, so I wondered if someone here can help me write it? It should have the date the restaurant close and the reason in the notice.
    Many thanks.

    Kobe

Sorry this is way too late, but for future reference, Kobe ::

To offer our commiseration for the sad passing of Mrs. (Name)....., mother of the owner of our neighbouring business (name of pub) and as a mark of respect, this premises will be closed on Wednesday the (number) of (month), re-opening (tomorrow) or (time) this evening. You must fill in the words within the brackets yourself, of course.

Or more simply:As a mark of respect on the sad passing of...etc., this premises etc..
