    hi

im just a bit more than 5ft 10

i have short legs though and less flexible than i used to be..
i found the geometry on this great...
i ride 54/55 colnagos..( 52 sloped) and this would be similar.

the frames look small in the flesh i suppose because of the deep slope

    hope that helps

    Hi ya,
    thanks for quick reply.

5'11" with short legs/long torso not overly flexible either!

An audax friend has identical frame, lovely bike, but not sure on size.

I'll pop over to him and come back to you.

If it goes it interim, no problem

    Ha!
And I thought I was special!

I ride it with a 100 stem if that's any help too..
    So room for growth ..

Genuinely impressive machine for the money.

Live to keep it bit seems pointless with its big brother ( kinda) in the house now too

    Sound.

I'll come back to you once I hear from my friend.

Hi - interested in this, particularly the swap idea - I have a Cannondale CAAD 9 CX frameset (54 cm); I have been using it as a commuter and as a (little used) winter bike, last year.

I won't ever be using it for it's intended purpose so have been toying with getting something more suitable, if you are interested let me know.

    Yep
    Definitly interested
Is the top tube on that 54 or 55?
Can manage a 55 but no longer really..
    Also..
    Is that canti brakes?
    Where are you based?

    Cheers

    Hi,

54.5 according to the latest Geometry charts, I cannot find one for the CAAD9 - but I guess that it has not changed much. I ride a Kuota with a 55 cm tt and it is shorter than that.

I work in UCD and am Greystones based - if either of these suit and you want to have a look.

Canti brakes; though I have Mini - Vs on it at present, I have the canti's I took off (somewhere..) - I did not get on with them, more my lack of expertise in setting them up than anything else.

    Cheers Countrykid,

Nice to meet with you and a pleasure to deal with - thanks for the Campag tips..

Likewise, very happy with the Genesis - looking forward to building her up and riding a steel frame for the first time since the late 1980s!!

Best of luck with the Cannondale.

    G'co
