Was thinking of going to this this year. Just wondering would it be worth going to or a waste of a day?? IS is a big event? Is there much trade stands or more attractions other than the actual cows themselveS?

Would it be on the scale of the IHFA open day or bigger?

Apart from the baileys cow there's not much else I'm afraid. Small cattle classes, some trade stands and a decent food hall if your interested in that kind of stuff. Oh yeah, almost forgot, a pile of "nearly new" tools for sale out on the street.

From a dairy point of view I suppose it would be worth going just to see the cows in the baileys competition and talk to the owners. They are something else.
Since the tullamore show started I find it hard to go to the smaller shows.

It would be a relatively small showground compared to some shows.
However if you are into big volume milkers then it is one of the best places to be. You will see some of the best black & whites on this island.
Lovely show and well worth the visit.
