My daughter is sixteen and a wonderful musician.
She wants to do a degree/pursue a career.
    etc.

She has offers of paid gigs but these are almost exclusively in pubs/hotels etc.( Carefully supervised by parent or responsible adult at all times.Limited hours etc,)

I have read up a bit on the legal position and it doesn't seem to be clear on this.
As i understand the situation if she were working in a bar collecting glasses or sweeping up she is allowed to be on premises up to closing time.

How does this apply to a self employed musician working on the premises.?

    Any opinions.?
