Has anyone tried the Arena Freestyle Breather yet? I wonder if it might be a useful aid for beginners who are struggling to get their breathing right- or is it another swim bag filler that solves a problem of the marketers making?

Can't see it being any use in open water or indeed approved in a Fina race.

If anything it would make you less able to take in air when you stop using it.

I dont really see it being such a great help, its better to learn without it. Also looking at the promo video, it uses professional athletes/swimmers with the ability to swim. Maybe it was just me but when I returned to the water I was nowhere near as neat, efficient or smooth in the water and would probably be more liable to knock the apparatus or my goggles off my face for that matter making me more likely to panic
