    all,

appreciate guidance on the best setup if I am to cancel sky. I would like to be able to do the following

i have multiroom HD with 2x sat cables to each of 2 rooms
i dont have a soarview aerial and would have to use one of the sat cables to take it down to the rooms
my tvs dont have soarview tuners but are full hd 1080p
I would like to keep live pause and series link recording
I assume I would relinquish sky sports with no possibility to get it again in future

what would be the best box, I also have good broadband speeds(24Mb download speed) and my own wifi router so good internal coverage.

    all advice welcome

    thanks.

You can get a pair of diplexers to send both satellite and terrestrial down the same cable so if you were to put up an aerial it wouldn't be an issue.
Check out the Amiko Alien 2 triple tuner, big threads about it in the terrestrial forum

Better off with the Xorro 9000.
Just had a TV Star TS4000 & had to send it back.
Not great if your signal is anyway weak at all.
Xorro 9000 is a much better receiver.

does the xorro work with Saorview also and have a 7 day epg for all channels?
are you suggesting that that is the ultimite solution ?

    Thanks for the advice

It all depends on what you want to spend but I find the Xorro very good for what I need.
There some good information on the Xorro here.

No other interest in this company other than its where I got the receiver.

is there a box that does epg for both and series link for recording?
