    Hi Guys

    I saw a job advertised online the other day that I was very interested in so I got my CV and cover letter ready but when I went to submit it the ljob was gone off the site even through the closing date for it was the 20th of Aug? Is there anything I can do to still be in with a chance?

    Can you find it on another site? I find jobs are shared on lots of sites after the original one the company actually put it on.

    I applied for one during the week, in the long description it said closing date was the 8th august but the date on the side said 15th so I just assumed it had been extended and applied anyway. Got an email back to say the closing date had passed, I replied and apologised with the link to where I had found it with the extended date and get said they hadn't advertised it with them!

    that happen to me too before I found the listing again on site that archives jobs like corkjobs.ie and got the email for them from the cache and applied. got called the next day for interview
