So I just got my LC results and maths is lower that I expected!

I was accepted into a PLC around about May and I have paid the deposit. when I applied it was looking for someone to have a C in maths but I only got a D. I was wondering will they still allow me to do the course or will they now refuse me. I'm really worried because PLC was kind of my only option!

Will they let me do the course because I have already paid the deposit.

Any info would be great thanks!

Don't worry, contact the PLC college and see what they say. Most colleges only require 5 passes in your Leaving Cert but do remember some courses may have a heavy maths element.

Firstly, have a look at your scripts and decide is it worth looking for a recheck.

Secondly, contact the college and tell them you are looking for a recheck and ask is it possible that the might overlook the Maths requirement when your other grades are taken into account.

I know someone who only passed 4 but because she'd already had her interview she was home free! She ended up dropping out after a month because the work was too much for her.
