Due to bad grass management I'd like to move some of my lambs back with the ewes. Anyone know how many weeks I should wait? Cheers

    At a guess I'd say 3-4 weeks
Let one ewe back with them and see what happens. If her lambs run over and try to suck leave it another wee while

Held onto some lambs ourselves this year, have them with ewes & ram at the minute.
Had the ewes in shed for 1/2 week to dry, then away to opposite end of farm for 2 1/2 weeks.
Seams to of worked (then again neither mother's or daughters have been tipped yet).

I was at a discussion group meeting a while back and the facilitator said 10 days to a fortnight should be long enough. I put some cull ewes back with the lambs within 3 weeks and had no problems

Fortnight should be long enough. the ewe her lamb might pair up but the ewe wont let her suck.
