Hi i have a collection of about 1,500 old postcards which my dad collected since he was a young man. He passed away over a year ago and i want to sell this collection for my mother. I would like some information on the best place to go to have them valued/sold. We checked auctions but with V.A.T comm e.t.c we dont want to go that route. They are mostly old Dublin, country and old funny ones. We would like to sell as one/two lots and not one by one. They are all in mint condition as my dad knew what he was buying and most of them have their own sleeve. Thank you

Apart from specialist auctions you could try ebay and adverts.ie. You would still have to pay a fee though depending on what your sale price is though.

    Best of luck!
