    Hi everyone,
As the titles says I am out of work because I am sick, the job I have does not pay sick pay and after 4 weeks money is running out. Am I entitled to claim sick pay from social welfare? I have enough savings to last about one more month then I dont know what I will do. Does anyone here know what, if anything I am entitles to from social welfare? I have alway worked and paid tax. PRSI, etc. Does this entitle me to anything?

Your Doctor should have forms that entitle you to apply for Illness Benefit. Contact them asap. It can be up to the standard rate of €188 per week.
