Visit Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, Marseille or ANother in France

I'll be in France later this year for my Cycling Holier and will be taking a detour for Lourdes some day before I commence, but was wondering about Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde!

I've included an extra day for myself in France once I complete my planned cycling route (all going well) and could detour over to Marseille to visit here.

Has anyone been? Would you detour over to visit & attend a mass? I'll be attending a mass in Lourdes before I start my cycling ; have been to Knock already here with Dad some years back ; have sat in on numerous Latin & Italian masses in Rome/throughout Italy and even a sermon in Spanish in La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Actually make it a must to visit a local chapel in most towns & cities I visit, but seldom attend mass so this could be something different.

Is it a Church you would attend for a mass, or would you recommend another outside of Paris. I'll be driving in Europe for the first-time and travelling solo wanting to avoid Paris tbh! Driving primarily in West and Southern France :)

    Thanking In Advance,
    kerry4sam
