So I'm lucky enough to buy my first (brand new 142) car. I'm picking it up tomorrow. Can people please tell me what things I should check when I pick it up

All I can think of is check for spare tire & jack and there is little or no mileage....what kinda mileage would be acceptable?

Check every panel on the car for marks and dents, wheels, tyres, interior.Check the spec is correct. Be sure you have both keys. If you agreed on a tank of fuel make sure it is full.

Mileage should be under 50km if new, if it's just delivered from the port it will probably be under 20km. Mine was 7km.

You'll be lucky to get a spare wheel.

Make sure the dealer fitted mats too. Also make sure you familiarise yourself with the controls before driving off the forecourt.

Nothing like the smell and feel of a brand new car, enjoy.

thanks for all the replies folks.

Car had 45km on it.. all panels all good & stuff. No spare wheel (thanks nice_guy), mats etc

Had the wrong reg plate, but the nice dealer sorted that out reasonably quickly.

so...now off for some driving :D:D

Take a long video of the car. Not only to know what it looked like, panels interior etc, but also to reminisce to in a year or two when the new car smell is gone :D
