I'm contemplating changing my ex spec accord for a new civic tourer. Apart from spec, anyone able to comment on the civics engine power and comfort? Test driving tomorrow..1.6 diesel Biggest draw is running costs which taking into account 210 less tax and 1/4 better fuel economy should add up.

    Any advice appreciated..

You are also going down a class of car so don't expect the same level of refinement or comfort. Power will be done as well but what sort of driving you do will dictate whether the difference is noticeable as there will probably not be a huge difference in real world usable power between the two unless you do a lot of motorway driving where the larger engine is under less stress. Saving of 210 in tax is tiny when spending thousands trading up.
