Sligo Accommodation?

I am moving down to sligo to do home ec teaching and I am wondering is there any accommodation places to avoid? I think I would like to stay in a student village as they are closer to Sligo town if anyone has any experiences of these it would be great :) Also is there wifi in all the houses or is it an extra?
