Folks, last friday i was sitting in my car, car turned off, keys out of the ignition, i think i had the door closed then opened it...when to start it and the battery was dead....today in the exact same spot, did the same thing and the battery was dead.....i normally do the same thing every lunch, grab something to eat and sit in the car, sometimes with the door open and normally no problem, what is happening here? it must be something to do with the door, i think i opened it then closed it and opened it again, maybe its the light thats causing the problem and just pure coincidence that it happened in the same place???

If 'twere me, I'd check the standing and charging voltages with a multimeter. How old is the car? How long is that battery in it?
