Fridges and dishwashers, yes but I've never come across a slim washing machine. A washing machine needs to be a certain size to accommodate the drum but probaly the biggest restraining factor (on making small machines) is that it needs to be a minimum width in order to remain stable when spinning, otherwise it would rock itself to death. There's a size below which it's just not possible to go.

If you don't have the width on the floor then you'd have to consider a tabletop machine. The washing machine configurator on www.did.ie has width options between 595 and 600 mm so they have nothing for you.

That's slim depth, I assume (?) the OP is looking for a slim width machine.

98-00 slimline washers are made, Whirlpool make a 5 and 6kg at 400 wide, model number AWE 6517, any retailer that stocks the brand should be able to get it for you. not that common but Hotpoint and Whirlpool have made them for over 30 years

Yeah, The Red Ace is correct, both Whirlpool and Hotpoint have the slimline washing machine. However, note that these are toploaders, which wouldn't suit if going under a counter top.

Common enough in France and the like, so not a specialist product, as it might be if you try to buy it here. Off season trip to France in the Car? Top loaders as already stated. I have used one in France, no issues over the normal front loader other than capacity.
