Young Peregrine

    Hi,
Don't ever post in here, but I spotted what I am sure was a young peregrine on the road outside my house. It looked like it had just killed a wood pigeon, or was about to scavenge an already dead one.

I am wondering if I should contact the National Parks and Wildlife service just to inform them, in case they are not aware that this young bird seems to have taken up residence in the area(especially in light of recent events with Peregrines). It is unusual as I live in a built up area and have never seen a Peregrine around here.

    Any advice would be great!

Would it have been a Sparrowhawk by any chance?

If it was a Peregrine then great but no need to report it as they are quite wildspread
