Hi, i received my results and it looks like i will be doing economics and sociology as a joint degree in UCD. I was just wondering what my future career options would be from this?
Also is it possible to go from this degree and get into courses such as commerce or economics and finance? Thank you.

This is from a (somewhat) biased perspective but don't do either. Economics is becoming saturated with graduates and more than likely you will learn something called neoclassical economics in college, which is no longer relevant and (as far as I'm concerned) been thoroughly debunked. Sociology is an arts degree and an arts degree won't get you a job.

Based on your business interests, you are better off doing something like actuary. Its a boring job but you get paid through the nose for it.
