Madrid airport layover - pass through security again?

Travelling from Dublin to Santiago de compostela via Madrid with Iberia next week. From what I can tell I'll be flying in and out of terminal 4. Only problem is I only have 1 hr 5 mins of a layover so I'm probably cutting it fairly tight. Does anyone know if ill have to go through security etc again in Madrid? I'll just have carry on so at least that won't be an issue. Thanks!

Unlikely, you should have to just find your gate for departing flight.

If you have a single booking with Iberia, it's most likely that they'll check you in the whole way and give you both boarding passes, which means you don't have to leave the secure area.
