I am trying to order photocopies of birthcerts from the early 1900's and when I go to the GRO website and try and order online it only lets me choose a certificate which costs €20, I have previously ordered the €4 photocopy via the postal form. Is this still the only way to order the photocopies? or can this be done online too?

You can fax and possibly email the postal form

You can post or fax the application to the GRO to get the €4 copies....
