Car Inspection / Mobile Mechanic Mayo / Castlebar

    Hi. Looking for a mechanic that will do a pre purchase inspection on a car in Castlebar , Co Mayo. Any recommendations? Tried AA but thay are very expensive for what the car is worth. Thanks!!

    Try asking nearby garages/dealers how much they would charge for an inspection of a car you are looking to buy. Preferably if they are a franchised dealer of the make you are looking to buy.

    Cheers Baz. Rang a few but they need the car to be dropped in to them. Really looking for someone to travel to the car, take a look/test drive and report back.

    If the garages are within a reasonable distance then why not ask the seller would they mind bringing it there. These garages most likely have a hoist so they can have poke around underneath it. Any honest seller should not have an issue with bringing the car to a nearby garage especially if they have nothing to hide.
