I have a very good thick shed door that is a concrete shed i have a freezer in it its about 5ft x 3 ft but i just noticed the last few days that at the bottom of the insode of the door the door is rotting a bit

even seen some wood louse , i scraped it away a bit to get rid of wet damp stuff its an area of bout 3inches by 3 inches

whats best to stop it rotting more i have a blow heater should i dry it out ?

Is there end grain at the bottom?
i.e. Is it made from a series of vertical lengths of timber?
See can you wrap a thin sheet of aluminium under the door (where youd never get a paint brush) to stop water splashing up into the end grain - let it run about 200mm up each side of the door then.

Keep the rest of it painted.

You can scrape the rotting wood away and use Ronseal Wet Rot Hardener, after that use Ronseal 2pack Wood Filler. Then you can paint or stain the door.
