A few times I've had to leave mod warnings in the middle of threads because some posters seem to think we need a tips thread.

The tips thread has been tried, tested and done three different times. Every time with a different approach because the members didn't like the previous one, and every time it's been thrown back in our faces and people seem to think the previous stance was better

The tips thread is not coming back in any carnation. Anybody who decides to question this or suggests in a post (whether as a joke or not) will find themselves immediately red-carded or banned if they've done this more than once. Even if you're joking, it'll still have the potential to spark a row which brings everything off topic. So just don't do it, please.

As always, if you wish to share a tip, there will be a new thread dedicated to the racing every single day and you can post your tips in those threads in any format you wish. There won't be a template, there won't be a need for explaining your source.

Hope this makes things very clear and we won't have to fight about it again.
