Amazon - Hazmat issue

    I placed an order on August 5 with Super Saver. It still hasn't been dispatched! I got onto them and just now I'm after getting a message that there's a Hazmat problem:
    Please inform the customer of a delay in their order as unfortunately we are unable to ship the shipment below due to a HazMat issue. Asin B002D9FKDS is currently under review for its hazmat properties. The shipment has been sidelined.

    Never had this happen before! Just wondering what I should do? Can I press them for a discount or voucher?

    If the item you bought contain HazMat substances, the custom will check goods ,even destroy it. I think you should ask for a refund.

    It appears to be something containing lithium batteries; Parcel Motel's address is NI so still may end up getting sent by air. Its likely that the dearer courier shipping would work as its post that has the real issue carrying lithium batteries.
