how long for online transaction to show up on account?

    My landlord said he paid my deposit into my account through onlin banking on monday yet it is still not showing up on my account. he said it can take a few days.

    Do online (AIB to Ulster Bank) not show up the same day?

    Not the same day, no.

    If it's not there by tomorrow evening I'd be checking to ensure he had the correct details.

    Assuming he did it before close of business today (and the details are correct), you should have it tomorrow.

    if he did it today, but after close of business, the day after tomorrow.
