White Painted Floorboards - Laquer over or No?

    Hey all,

After doing a bit of research, mainly on a now locked thread on here, I recently painted over what I think were pine floorboards. I followed what seemed to be a general consensus on the way to do it i.e

1 - a bit of a sanding (to be honest this was only a bit)
2 - BIN Zinsser Primer, one coat
3 - White Eggshell, 2 coats (I used the Dulux version)

So far it has been very straightforward and it looks really well. However, I want to know where do I go from here. Would it benefit from a 3rd coat? Or a clear coat of polyurethane maybe?

My concern is would polyurethane age/yellow over time? Is this likely to happen even if I leave it?

I've a bed arriving next week to go into the room so kinda want to have it fully sorted by then.

    Thanks in advance

Dulux have a special lacquer that will go over it. You should ask them and they'll sort you out. Or MRCB would advise. Not sure on exact names of product.
