looking for a decent and durable shower system for a walk in shower. it will get use everyday.
at the minute we are thinking of going with a concealed system with thermostatic value with divertor for rainshower head and a hand hose/rail system. it will be on a pressurized system (3 bar).
seems to be so many of them out there
Any recommendations for a good one or good brand?

Grohe or Mira Digital systems, I have both and both are excellent, multi user (TEMP / Pressure) , digital temp readout. Can't fault it. No problems with either seven years for the Grohe and 3 for the Mira. I wouldn't go back to a non digital system. depending on the exact model its between 800 - 1200 euro. The more expensive models include the option for a digital diverter.

Mixer packs are in the attic for easy access with a single pipe to bathrooms for shower head. Controls are Wireless so no extra cabling needed.

thanks peter_dublin. just googled them there, they look great but unfortunately out of our budget. reminds me must do lotto!
just looking at Grohe site there and it mentions systems with a thermostat and other with a diverter...what is the difference?

"Whether you choose an AquaDimmer for fast switching between the head shower and the hand shower combined with a thermostat which sets the desired water temperature, or if you prefer a straightforward diverter between the two showers - a great shower experience is ensured at all times."

The thermostat only units only supply a single feed so you can't redirect it without some manual option such as the taps with the little lever you pull to send the flow to the shower head (A manual diverter), the ones with the diverter can switch the flow between two location such as a shower head and a shower handle.
