    hi
you could go from the maldron hotel roundabout to enniscorthy and then to new ross through clonroche and back to wexford - -lot of route is main roads with hard shoulder and route is approx 90 km with 700 plus mtrs, you could increase that by going out to kilmore quay and back which would add another 40k etc

also there is a casual group of wheelers sportive cyclist that meet at the maldron hotel on tuesday saturday's and either thursday or friday at 0930am and do a route that depending on day etc could be 60k-100km - they are open to anyone joining in

    hi bax
yes they will be - i will be out with them on saturday and mention to them - they will have a potential visitor on tuesday - i will pm you the first names of the guys.

also there is a nice run from the town ,out over the bridge to Kilmuckridge via Curracloe and Blackwater. Back roads, with a nice bit of drag with one-two punchy dips! - approx 60k return i think - but a very nice run and there is a cafe there for a coffee also

For a testing slightly over 100k spin: http://www.strava.com/activities/177245354

Turn off n11 past Heritage Park and follow R730 to N30.
Turn right then left to stay on R730 to Kiltealy.

In Kiltealy turn left on R702 and follow signs to head up and over Mt. Leinster. The descent will bring you down to Bunclody and back to Wexford on the Main Roads. (Bunclody to the n11 is a pain in the hole with little hard shoulder on a national route). There are a few back road options to bring you back to Wexford if you want to avoid the main Rd.

I do this route regularly. If you take the backroad to Clohamon out of Bunclody, be warned the surface is pretty appalling in places, but a much quieter route.
