Is it possible to get sky go as a upc customer that has a sky sports package?....

It asks for viewing card number on the website but i assume this is a sky viewing card number (for a sky box)...

This is from the UK site here, so not sure if it applies to customers in Ireland.

Sky Go is included with Sky subscriptions and not UPC ones.

The Sky Go monthly ticket will work for you but it's far from cheap.

UPC's equivalent is Horizon Go, but Sky Sports News HQ is the only Sky Sports channel on there.

A Friend told me that he pays 5 euro a month and has all the sky sports channels on his Ipad..He said he doesn't have sky TV and showed me the stations on his Ipad.

It sounds too good to be true and I have checked on the website and cannot see this anywhere ? Can anyone confirm if this is the case ?

Most likely a cracked account and that's where I say no more.

No, there really is a legal app, its called Sky Sports Mobile TV, its on the app store and its an official BSkyB app. Costs €6 per month.

I'm confused - then the Sky/GAA deal was announced there were two news pieces:

GAA fans with a Sky Sports subscription can watch live on TV, online and on mobile and tablet devices via Sky Go or the award-winning Sky Sports for iPad app, which are both free for subscribers to download at no extra cost. Non-subscribers can also watch these games on mobile, by downloading the Sky Sports TV app where they can receive all six Sky Sports channels for €13.99 per month.

I'd be inclined to believe the pricing on the Sky website.

I had it for couple months when it launched.

Apparently now TV day passes are pretty cheap on eBay.

alternatively ask a mate with sky sports nicely to use one of their four sky go accounts.

It is only 2 devices now unless they have multiroom or paid extra for 4 devices. I know of one person who is paying for the extra devices on a friends Sky account. I'm sure there are many more eg. Students and the likes.

Would that one could find it on their site - it's not exactly easy to navigate.

There are apparently two price levels. One for Sky Sports 1 & 2 at €5.99 pm and one for seven channels* at €13.99 per month. GAA games are broadcast on Sky Sports 3 though which requires the latter.

*Includes Sky News. Might not include Sky Sports 5.

    That makes sense.
