hi ..my question is for wood turners
I am debating whether to fell a very large monkey puzzle tree approx 60ft high and over five foot in diameter at base.
What is the going rate for this wood and how to wood turners prefer it"served" eg in rounds or chunks
    Grateful for any help

In rounds. The knots from each branch are on the same axis and when turned into a bowl can be seen all around the bowl.

A woodturner would also tell you that that wood isn't worth much. Probably less than 1 euro a boardfoot. :P Actually, if you ask nicely, you might get someone to take it off your hands for free.

But yeah, one of the few timbers better served up in slices across the tree to show the grain. Price? Dunno
