Taxing car that's declared off the road.

    I've to tax a car that's been off the road for a while. I tried doing it online but it errored out when I got to the payment stage. Please dont tell me I've to go to the tax office? :(

    Could be just down did you apply for pin?

    It is so much easier online.

    Site may have crashed try later or tomorrow.

    So I'll be the first one to bring bad news.
    You do have to go to tax office.
    Alternatively you can post filled in documents to them.

    Can't be done online.

    Just as I feared. Ohh well. I suppose the lads behind the desk in Naas may have to do some work occasionally.

    Has it changed because I had my bm off the road sornd and had no problem online.

    Possibly you were taxing it after SORD period expired.

    OP is most likely trying to tax it, while it's still SORDed.

    That's the case, there's still a good 4 months on the SORD.

    I've been trying to SORN 6 cars and bikes, I have the pin no for each, but the site keeps crashing. Even tried about 1 am this morning. So it's not me then!!
