Hello all, could anyone add to this list of specialist Dance shows on Irish independent radio?

    So far I have:

    Freaks on Friday - FM104

John Gibbons and Pete Maguire - Spin 1038

    Connor Coates - Blast 106

    Pogo - TXFM

Are Andy Mac and Ray C still looking after Dance on Beat? I havent been in that neck of the woods in awhile.

    Anymore?

Many thanks Marno. Has anyone else got others?

PS: bit of a typo of the post, I was enquiring about all Irish Dance shows, not just specialist ones. Cheers!

great memories from the pioneer of dance on Irish Radio..

I think you'll find (if you do a bit more research) that such a title belongs to Simon Young :)

On the digital front you have a myriad of dance music shows ranging from your average hed kandi, Ibiza loving, 120 bpm realm of show to the left of centre and obscure running all week on RTE Pulse with shows on a Sunday especially like Reload, Spectrum and the Audio Sunshine shows getting as specialist in their genre’s as you can get for both overseas talent as well as home grown. Most of the above also seem to have shows on 2fms late night schedule which is another good source for dance music programming.

Some great dance shows on radiomade.ie as well to check out and also and, if it’s still going? Power FM in Dublin used to have some great programmes on the schedule to check.

An Taobh Tuathail - RnaG - 10pm Mon - Fri
    http://www.rte.ie/rnag/an-taobh-tuathail/programmes/2014/0815/637178-an-taobh-tuathail-friday-15-august-2014
Fresh underground music from around the globe, presented by Cian Ó Cíobháin.
The shows at the beginning of the week are relatively laidback and as the weekend draws closer, they become clubbier/more electronic in tone.
