Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

How to create a tekstyle kick?

    Not really sure, searched loads on the internet and can't find the type of kick I'm looking to create.

    Put an 808 kick through distortion or a bit crush.

    Also if you have a kick preset on any of your synths, raise the cut off to see what it sounds like, and maybe put it through distortion.

    And maybe pitch it up.

    A little trial an error.


    Or if you want you can just cut the sample straight off the recording, and use that, it sound clear in places......That would be the easiest thing you could do.
