Hi we've noticed over the last few weeks the concrete path around the house has started to crack more. There was a few when we moved in but it seems to be getting worse. The house is 75yrs old so the concrete has been down a good few yrs.

    Any idea what's causing this?

Could likely be roots of trees or water within the soil that is causing the concrete to unsettle and so crack.

Ok thanks, no trees close to the concrete. I wonder then if it could have anything to do with fact we've recently dug up a large portion of the grass leading to the path and put gravel on it?

Could be as the soil would be more compact than the gravel.
