    Hi,

Putting woes are wrecking my head, missing now from 2 to 4 feet, had enough of my current putter (ping anser about 5 years old). Every time I move the putter back I feel I'm not keeping it on a straight line, it's too light.

Well I've played with a few guys who have the taylormade ghost spider and highly recommend them, lovely solid feel, good weight in the putter head, and something I've been thinking of getting for sometime now.

mcguirks quoted me €149 on the phone yesterday, left handed, and counter balance set up.

    Anybody else use these?

    Hi,
Have the Daddy Long legs which i think has a bigger head. Super putter was messing around with other putters this summer, tried to go back to my 2ball but no comparisson. The shape makes it so easy to set is square and off sentre makes almost zero difference.

Just as a matter of interest where did you get the daddy long legs ? How do you find on longer puts like 20 feet or more which is the usual length of my first put!

have it in my head that ParLance had one of these for sale not too long ago I think?

Maybe have a look at Odyssey 2 ball putters. Some of the range have extra weights that can be put into the head

It might have worked better if you'd tried it left handed :p

Might be interested in this too, getting bored with my Odyssey Sabre, are there weights in the grip itself as I'd want to change to a SuperStroke?

I used it for 2 years, very solid from 10 feet and in I just struggled getting the pace on the longer ones, I moved to a counterbalanced Odyssey Tank Cruiser V Line and I'm holing everything, I've only played 4 rounds with it and had 24,26,26 and 28 putts. It's still the honeymoon period but I'd highly recommend it.

Adverts, no problem on long putts.

Have to say be careful with putting a different grip on the putter, i have done it a couple of times and found that if the grip is lighter or heavier than the previous on it can totally change the feel. The guys on golf wrks are usually goon on what will work best.
Would definitly have a look at the counter balanced putters.
