I'm looking for a trailer to carry kids.
Must be capable of carrying 2 kids - one 10months and one three years.
Also must be the weatherproof type of trailer.

I'm based on Dublin's Northside but will travel within reason for a look.
Also if you bought one new, can you tell me where you bought it and how do you find it

    Thanks

They have these trailers for sale in Halfords.

I doubt I'd be willing to put my kids in one and use it on the road. Certainly for offroad trails and such I'd give it a go.

Not selling a trailer, as I still use the one I have. Its this one http://www.halfords.com/cycling/accessories/child-bike-seats-trailers/bellelli-bike-taxi-child-bike-trailer and I would recommend it whole heartedly.

I bought it used two years ago and have used it a lot for summer trips and for bringing/collecting the kids from Creche. It has a really sturdy platic base that makes it seem well built and solid. The kids love it, though it's getting a bit squishy in there when they are in it together. (they are 5 1/2 and 3 1/2).

Also, I have never experienced any difficulty when using it on the roads around where I live, or when on holiday. In fact, I would say cars are more courteous and considerate when I have the trailer than when I don't.

I think* I'm about to sell a bakfiets/cargobike with two rows of seats (seating 2-4 kids depending on age), rain cover etc., just in case you were interested in going that direction.

*Subject to confirmation that we are absolutely finished with it.

Thanks, had a look online there at what one of these looks like.
It doesn't seem to have protection from the weather around where the kids'll be. Is this the way with your one?

No - they're completely enclosed in a sturdy seethrough plastic tent. They remain bone dry in even the worst weather.

thanks anyway, but I'd prefer a trailer I could unhitch as I have a bit of a commute after dropping the kids off.

Cool looking bikes anyway so good luck with the sale, I'm sure it'll be snapped up.
