    Hi Guys.
I installed a tv in a sports club a while back with a saorview box. I picked up a lot of English stations at the start. last week I put in a second tv that is a saorview tv and now I only have the irish stations on both. any help please as to how I go about getting signal back

So is this all terrestrial reception, or is it satellite for the UK channels? Did you install the dish &/or aerial(s) & distribution system too or if not, do you know what is installed?

Where (roughly) is this sports club located?

So the sports club is in Balbriggan. It is terrestrial. The ariel is pre existing. I put in an amp, power supply and splitter box and can only get the irish stations. 2 mins down the road I installed an indoor ariel and it works fine

A single, vertically polarised aerial to receive Saorview from Clermont Carn transmitter &, Freeview from Kilkeel?

These transmitters are about the same distance away but, Clermont Carn is hugely more powerful & its transmitting aerial is at about twice the height ASL as Kilkeel. Kilkeel is only receivable so far south due to there being no obstructions in the signal path (mostly sea).

Indoor aerial? That gets the UK channels too? You mean it's an outdoor type installed in an attic?

The thing you have to understand with digital TV is that 'works fine' can often mean 'just about works & nothing more': it's an all-or-nothing thing, not like the more gradual degradation of analogue TV. Digital can't be set up just by looking at the picture on the TV.

That is your problem. Ariel is washing powder.
