I have a day off from work...well a week actually.

Just back from a bike ride...

How will I punch in the rest of the day? Don't have much cash so can't cost much...

Live tweet your experience posting on boards about wasting your day and/or arguing with people about things that really don't matter.

    That's what I'd do.

Sit around the house on your ass watching day time tv.

Spend your day on adverts being the first comment on the free stuff section that's actually decent.
Sell it on for small profits throughout the rest of the day.

I tried looking at Fair City once and I couldn't look at more than ten minutes as I was cringing so much at the awful acting.
More cringeworthy than a Michael Cera role.

    Alphabetize your dvd/cd collection.

    Idle hands and all that.

If you have a bike, and you're in dublin, then you've got your pick of free museums, gardens, parks...

Who takes a bike to a museum?

Who takes a bike to a museum?

Somebody who wants to get to a museum without paying for bus fare?

Grow a neckbeard and spend the week in a state of continuous outrage on the Internet. Develop very strong opinions about enormously complex geopolitical situations, interspersed with vague Republican rhetoric, and perhaps a sprinkling of bile about the Government, bankers and Denis O'Brien.

I had 2 weeks off but didn't have the cash to go anywhere, so I looked up all the places you could bring your kids for free or low cost.
Spent a full week doing day trips with the kids to loads of places.
All them cereal boxes with the bring your child and an adult goes free were well used. Tesco vouchers were used for cinema and national aquatics centre.
Lots of good playgrounds around , parks, hikes, canal walks etc. Depends on your location but if your search online you could find loads to do.

Make a list things you have been avoiding. Do one per day for the week. Next, make a list of something you always were interested in doing and either go do it or start finding out what you need to do to make it happen.

    Did I mention lists?

Get a new job for the week.

Get a ball and see how many times you can bounce it without stopping.

Count the hairs around your nipple.

Find a tree and carve your name in it and say you 'woz ere 2k14'

Ring freephone 1800 numbers and conversate with the customer care team.

Get a newspaper/magazine. Get a pen. Trace around the outline of a person's face, eyes, nose and wrinkles and see how funny it makes them look.

You have a week. Go online and enter absolutely every competition you can find. There should be hundreds. Then watch the winnings roll in (or not).

    Some great suggestions...

But logik's suggestion won out..headed off out for a walk in a nearby forest and got some great snaps of a waterfall...

Twas full of people, mostly foreigners (I'm guessing from their accents)...great day out.

So now, feet up for an hour watching the box, steak dinner and a few drinks to look forward to, not too shabby for a Monday.

Obviously a person who has no children.

If I ever have time to myself, I do absolutely nothing. Oh how I've missed it.
