I'm moving to Dublin and looking at accommodation across from the square in Tallaght. Is the area nice? is it extremely rough?

Lived in Tallaght all my life.

With respect to apartments around the square and if its rough, not really but if I'm honest, but you will find that is has more of its fair share of undesirables around the place. People will mostly keep themselves to themselves.

Citywest would be slightly better in that regard.

Not my cup of tea though.
