While in the work based section as a mechanic apprentice (not the fas centre or IT) are you entitled to time off for holidays?
I've looked on the fas site it states you are not allowed take holidays during the IT or training centre time but nothing mentioned about work place and what your entitled to..

Yes you are 100% entitled to your statutory days off which equate to 21 days per year. As someone who has completed an apprenticeship i can tell you i am certain of this.

Also while you attend your off the job phases such as Phase 2,4 and 6 your holidays are not affected at all. So lets say you begin Phase 2 in January and its 21 weeks long you will finish sometime in May you are still entitled to your 21 days to be taken between the months of May and December.
