CRI Alert - Missing Child (Alert now over - child has been found safe)

    Gardai have issued a Child Rescue Ireland alert after a two-year-old boy went missing.

    Little Hassan Khan, from Ballybrack in Dublin, is believed to be with his father, Saleem.

    They were last seen at approximately 3.45pm today in Ballybrack Village.

    Saleem Khan is described as 5’7’’, of average build with a black beard.

    It is believed Saleem and Hassan are travelling in a red Fiat Idea registered number 05 D 62779.

    Gardai have asked the public not to approach those involved.

    Gardai have to ensure strict criteria are met before the alert is raised, which includes that the child is under 18, that there is a reasonable belief that the child has been abducted, that there is a belief that there is an immediate and serious risk to their health or welfare, and that there is sufficient information available to enable the public to assist gardai in the search.
