Laptop needed for a Web Development course.

I am starting a Web Development and creative media course and I need a new laptop. In the course I will be programming and using stuff like Photoshop etc I will also be using it for general web surfing and watching TV show and movies etc. I was thinking of getting an Apple Macbook Air or Pro but they are kind of expensive.…
