Is it possible to play something from the planner on the sky+ HD box through a VCR player to record it on to a VCR tape (or even a DVD disc)?

    If yes, please explain how.

    I've a SKY+ HD Box & a Samsung DVD-V6800 DVD/VCR Combo.

    Thanks

I ran a scart cable from the Sky Box to the VCR recorder and I record programmes from other channels.

Only snag I can see with this is that the VCR is not going to be capable of operating to HD quality levels, or even close

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
