What breeds of maternal rams are guys using at the moment. I'm after a belclare , but know a lot here use the llyen. Haven't heard as much discussion about the different types of Cheviots or border / blue Leicesters. I have lowland texel x ewes but want to increase the maternal genes and lambing % 's

Be hard to beat belclare I d think for what you want, been impressed with what I ve seen of them recently. I ve been using Lleyn across Mules for past few ewes, considering a belclare for a try this year
