I recently bought an alien2 and everything worked fine until one day my tuner failed when trying to watch most of the channels, when I switched to the second tuner everything was fine but when I used a different sattelite to connect to the original tuner the same thing happened and quite a majority of the channels would not scan in, is there any way to fix this.

Try a factory reset although if it was software related then surely both tuners should be affected.
You might just have a faulty tuner.

Also what image are you using? HDMU and open arp images had that problem of randomly displaying faulty tuner, did the problem fix itself after a reset?

I am using Hyperion v4 and I have tried quite a few images, used different satellite feeds, done factory resets and still no good, is there any way of replacing these tuners or will the whole box need replacing.
