    Hi folks,

Do you guys reckon this is of any additional benefit? I have been a member of regular LinkedIn for 6 months now while away travelling and have been contacted several times by recruiters despite not being very active on the site and not actively seeking work.

I will be returning home in a couple of weeks and will be starting my job search in earnest. Opinions please?

I don't use Premium and it does every thing I need to convey my qualifications and experience. It's useful for keeping in touch with recruiters, similarly experienced people and hiring managers in industry. So I in all honesty, don't think you would need Premium.

What are the benefits of Premium?

I can see why a recruiter might want an upgraded account, but I'd love to know if it makes any difference to a job seeker; it seems very expensive.

I'm sure they've done their sums, but I think that sort of price is too high for people who are open to a move, but not completely invested in a full-on job hunt.

Stuff like this sounds impressive, but what are the odds it's just something like a comparison of LinkedIn endorsements, which are totally useless.

Premium gives you stats on the jobs and your % match to the requirements.
Saves a lot of time applying for jobs you've no hope of getting.
