I found loads of websites some charge you to get in contact with the advertisers and the others which i have tried nobody has got back to me. Am I missing a trick? Also as an aside has anyone been before to give me tips or things i must do?

I haven't been there before but I have attending university abroad a couple of times. I never had any luck booking from abroad. I always booked into a hostel and spent the week looking for accommodation.
