    Curragh 3.35
    Anner Queen 5/1

A few here were on Anner Queen when it was mentioned on Friday and failed to go into stalls and was WD. Was well backed on Friday from 4s into as low as 6/4 so the support was there. 5/1 now tomorrow with PP. Tricky race tomorrow but at the price I'll have a punt.

Any idea if Tom Madden was injured on Friday night. Anger Queen reared and fell on top of him. Looked kinda nasty and the cameras kept off him after the incident.

Edit: Just did a quick search and apparently he "escaped unscathed".

    Good to hear.

Hopefully she is mad to go tomorrow once she gets out of the stalls and not before it.

If it rains like it is forecast , the going will prob change and then be lots of non runners , the soft ground will suit maarek but he looks abit short in price .

Maarek looks short given ground isn't yet ideal (should be soon) but more so he's been waiting to run since May. He's been on the go a long time and for all I think he'll be way too good I can't advised him at 13/8

I like Viztoria @ 13/2 with Lads in the big French grp1. A competitive race but she has clearly been aimed at this race for a long time. Ground and trip are perfect, she has beaten the fav Gregorian before and trainer rarely misses the target these days. in Eddie we trust! :)

It's annoying how RTE bring us four days of crap from Galway but couldn't be arsed to show Group One action at The Curragh today.

Had been told by a very good source to back Tamadhor in the 3.05 at Curragh. Apparently has improve a ton from her debut and stable fully expect her to go one better today. Negative imo is Hayes on board the boy just seems to find trouble every time i back him by hopefully does the business today. Best price available is 9/4 with Lads.

JFK wins impressively, never in doubt once took it up on outside. Nice drift to 11/8. Had a dabble even at odds on thinking it was a so decent bet when collecting winnings in Boyles earlier. haha!

Someone was making the point during the week that they wouldn't call a donkey "JFK" :D

Havent seen the race , but olivers filly that won that race at 50 to 1 must be pretty decent to win that easy

Won very nicely now. She was only out for a gallop in Galway last week so when beaten 15Ls by Tamadhor. Change in ground from Good to Yielding must have gave her that chance also. Obriens hated the ground.

The other Oliver filly in the race Could Should Would was a bit of an eye catcher. She was out the back at the start of the race but ran on for fifth. Given how much improvement there was in Run The Red Light from her first race to her second she might be worth sticking in the tracker for the next day.

Interesting to see what Shalamzar from same yard does later.......unlucky from wide draw in Galway

    Shalamzar 5.05
    Big Bad Lily 5.35

    2 singles and a double

Maarek a little disappointing but not surprised he underperformed. Evanna McCutcheon stated on a few occasions that he's a hard horse to get fit and stays fit with racing. Having been ready to run since May (she said she was desperate to get a run into him) and attempting to keep him on the go the whole time when dictated by weather he probably lost his fitness. That run should have got him back to peak fitness though and you'll see a much improved performance next time.
