refund on prescription medical card

Hi, was away on a work course and I had to go to a different doctor. I ended up needing 3 prescriptions costing over 80 euro. can I claim these back as I still have a medical card. they gave me receipts for a drug payment refund,do I use this foem if I am entitled to a refund.

Did you let the Dr know you had a medical card, or give him the number?

No as it was a work doctor at the other site,he did not charge me.

Talk to your pharmacist who charged who. They may refund you if you get them a medical card prescription from your GP to cover the items you were charged for. All depends how long ago it was really

Ask for a GMS prescription from the doctor the next time it happens.
